Quoting and assessment

Questions we get
The things people ask before they call
How long will the repairs take?
Repair times may vary depending on the availability of spare parts, extent of works that need to be carried out as well as wait time for assessments and authorities from insurers. We will endeavour to return your vehicle as quickly and efficiently as possible whilst maintaining the highest level of quality.
Can I choose Fineline even though the accident was my fault?
If your policy includes Choice of Repairer, yes. That clause lets you nominate the repairer rather than take the insurer's allocation.
Do you deal with the insurance company for me?
Yes, once you have lodged a claim with your insurer and nominated us as your repairer of choice, we can take over from there. In the event of a not-at-fault claim, we can handle the claim from start to finish without you having to make any phone calls to insurers.
Can I get a hire car?
Often, but the insurer decides it, not us. It depends on your policy and on whose fault the accident was, so ask us early.
Do you do restoration work?
No. We are a smash repair shop and we keep to accident and collision repairs.
